Infant escape pod

Infants are not immune to nuclear, chemical, and biological agents. The Infant Protective Pod
(IPP), made of butyl material, and sized for an infant. It even includes the TST PAPR respirator and butyl taped seams.
Butyl gloves are integrated into the system to allow for
adults to safely handle their babies and even change nappies.

The pod uses a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) and is the the ideal respiratory protection for prolonged duties in the warm zone. The TST Blower System is a lightweight unit that effortlessly pulls supplied air through two filters creating an overpressure of clean hair in the pod. The system has been tested for inward leakage and has been proven to provide an extremely high level of protection of six hours or more under certain conditions.
